Union Developers is seeking Profiles for “Deputy / Assistant Manager Procurement” based in Lahore having minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in same capacity, preferably experience in Construction, Developers and/or Manufacturing Industries.
Responsibilities
– Support the Manager Procurement in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
– Assist in identifying sourcing needs and requirements and contribute to the development of procurement plans.
– Assist in managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
– Collaborate with the Manager Procurement in evaluating supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and implementing improvement measures.
– Assist in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, participating in contract negotiations, and monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
– Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide support and guidance.
– Conduct research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and benchmark pricing.
– Assist in optimizing inventory levels and lead times to ensure a smooth supply of goods and services.
– Contribute to monitoring and analyzing procurement data, including spend analysis and cost savings, and prepare reports for management review.
– Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
– Support the development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, and documentation.
– Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience of at least 5 to 8 years in procurement.
Familiarity with procurement software and systems for efficient procurement operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
